DID YOU KNOW?
In Linn County alone, there are 2,000 children under the age of 5 living in poverty. Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank handed out around 24,000 diapers in a matter of two months. But in order to effectively help those 2,000 children living in poverty, it would take up to 6 million diapers.
This year, alongside our annual Day of Caring, Women United is hosting a diaper drive to help these families.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Host a drive to collect unopened, disposable diapers, and wipes. Items can be delivered to the following drop off sites:
- August 27, 10 a.m.-3 p.m: Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank (YPN)
